About the challenge

Power Edo Bootcamp 3.0 is the third edition of Power Edo Bootcamp. It is a 2-weeks bootcamp organized by Microsoft Learn Student Ambassadors in Edo State and Power Platform User Group Edo and supported by Microsoft and Edo State Skills Development Program (EdoJobs).

The goal of this bootcamp is to guide and support budding low-code/no-code citizen developers on their path to learning and building solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform.

Microsoft Power Platform is Microsoft's Low Code Development technology. It comprises 4 main parts: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.

Begin by

  • Thinking of a problem (Ideation)
  • Confirm if the problem is really a problem (Market Research)
  • Coming up with the scope of the problem (Problem Statement)
  • Think about the technologies necessary to bring this solution to life (Technologies Used)
  • What would the solution look like? (Solution Overview)
  • Then test out your solution to ensure it's working properly for the end-users (Product Testing)

What to Build

A solution to a problem affecting the healthcare sector. Utilize the 3 out of the 4 tools that make up Microsoft's Power Platform:

  • Power BI, and
  • Power Virtual Agent

What to Submit

A working solution solving to a very clear extent the problem outlined in your problem statement and overview.
